Henry Houndwear does not warrant the information’s accuracy or completeness, nor does it warrant the reliability of any advice, opinion, statement, image, drawing or other information displayed on the site.

By using this site, you acknowledge that should you rely solely on any such opinion, advice, statement, memorandum, or information, this shall be at your sole risk.

Henry Houndwear reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to correct any errors or omissions anywhere on the site.

Further, we may make any other changes to the site, to the materials, products, services or prices described in the site at any time, without notice.

We acknowledge that we are subject to any applicable provisions of the Competition and Consumer Act 201 (Cth), which cannot be modified or excluded.

The information and materials provided on the site, and any software made available on the site, are provided “as is” without any representation or warranty, express or implied, of any kind, including, but not limited to, warranties of merchantability, non-infringement, or fitness for any particular purpose.

Privacy Policy

Henry Houndwear is committed to the protection of your personal information.

The website, henryhoundwear.com.au and henryhoundwear.au does not and will not in itself collect, send, distribute, sell, or store in any other location, any of your private information.

As the website and the online shopping feature of the site is powered by Shopify, this organisation has its own policies regarding data privacy.

The policies can be found at shopify.com/legal/privacy/customers.

We recommend that you visit this site to familiarise yourself with their policies.

Shopify may collect and hold some information about you in their system however, Henry Houndwear will not ask for it to be provided nor use this data for any purpose.

The only occasion in which you may receive marketing information from us is if you should decide to provide your email address in our website specifically to receive direct updates from us from time to time.

Henry Houndwear Product Warranty

Henry Houndwear provides the guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this warranty is to be interpreted as excluding, restricting or modifying any State or Federal legislation applicable to the supply of goods and services which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified.

Henry Houndwear provides the following warranty in relation to its product ("Product").

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced at the discretion of Henry Houndwear if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and performance.

The benefits of this warranty are in addition to any rights and remedies imposed by Australian State and Federal legislation that cannot be excluded.

Warranty

Henry Houndwear warrants that, subject to the exclusions and limitations below, the Product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship from date of purchase.

This warranty is not transferable to a subsequent person if the Product is on sold by the original purchaser during the warranty period.

If a defect should appear in the Product and Henry Houndwear finds the Product to be defective in materials or workmanship, Henry Houndwear will, in its sole discretion, either:
(a) replace or repair the Product or the defective part of the Product free of charge, or;
(b) cause the Product or the defective part of the Product to be replaced or repaired free of charge.

Henry Houndwear reserves the right to replace defective parts of the Product with parts and components of similar quality, grade and composition where an identical product or component is not available.

Warranty Claims

  1. If a fault covered by warranty occurs, the customer must contact Henry Houndwear within 7 days from which the Product was purchased.
  2. Any warranty claim must be accompanied by:
    (a) proof of purchase;
    (b) full details of the alleged defect;
    (c) any relevant documentation, and, if applicable;
    (d) photograph/s depicting the fault.
  3. The customer must make the Product available to Henry Houndwear for inspection and testing within 14 days of contacting Henry Houndwear in accordance with this warranty claims procedure. If inspection and testing finds no defect in the Product, a refund may not be given and the product returned to the purchaser.
  4. The cost of return to or from Henry Houndwear is to be paid by the customer.

Exclusions

The warranty will not apply where:

(a) the Product has been repaired, altered or modified by someone other than Henry Houndwear;
(b) the Product was improperly used;
(c) Henry Houndwear cannot establish any fault in the Product after testing and inspection;
(d) the Product has been used other than for the purpose for which it was designed and intended;
(e) the defect in the Product has arisen due to the customer's failure to properly use and maintain the Product in accordance with Henry Houndwear instructions, recommendations and specifications (including maintenance if applicable);
(f) the Product has been subject to abnormal conditions, including environment, temperature, water, fire, humidity, pressure, stress, impact or similar;
(g) the defect has arisen due to abuse, misuse, neglect or accident;
(h) unauthorised accessories have been used on or in relation to the Product;
(i) the defect is a deterioration of the appearance of the Product, or;
(j) the defect is a result of wear & tear.

Limitations

Henry Houndwear makes no express warranties or representations other than set out in this warranty. The repair or replacement of the Product or part of the Product is the absolute limit of Henry Houndwear’s liability under this express warranty and no other claim for loss or damage as a result of any fault will be considered.

Return & Exchanges

We really hope you love the product you've ordered and received!

However, if for some reason you need to request an exchange, you’re welcome to return the product within 14 days of receiving your order.

Items returned outside of this period may not be accepted (unless faulty).

We're a small business and we only make a limited number of each style, so we ask that you be mindful of this when you purchase as we can’t guarantee availability of stock.

Return Conditions

Goods must be returned:

  • within 14 days of receiving your items.
  • in the condition that they arrived in.
  • unwashed and free from greyhound fur or dander both inside the garment and on the outside.

Options

    • Full-priced items can be returned for a credit (valid for one month) excluding shipping costs.

    • Gift vouchers are non-refundable, but are valid for up to 12 months from the date of purchase. Gift vouchers can be used on any item in our online store.

    • Items purchased during a fundraiser or promo can be returned to the same value at the time of purchase, excluding shipping costs.

    • Discounted Sale items are NOT refundable.

    • Exchanges can be made providing your items meet the return conditions. Please send us your tracking number and we'll reserve your requested items. This is subject to availability and the condition of your items upon their return to us.

Please note: if you don't include a pre-paid satchel for your items, we'll invoice you a flat-rate shipping fee that must be paid prior to dispatch. 

If your exchange is of greater value than your returned item(s): You'll be required to pay the balance of your order prior to dispatch of your items.
If your exchange is of lesser value than your returned item(s): A refund will be processed for the difference back to you via your original method of payment. 
If your replacement style is out of stock: We’ll issue you an credit and hopefully you can find something else from the collection that you can select. 

    • Faulty Items: Whilst we pride ourselves on quality control for each garment, mistakes sometimes happen. Email us straight away with a description and picture of the fault.


      
Returns Process

      1. Email us with your invoice number and your exchange or refund request.

      2. Refunds or exchanges are not guaranteed and will be subject to review of the condition of the returned product.  

      3. Once we receive your item, we will notify you of our approval or rejection of your credit. If approved, your credit will be issued. If declined, we'll discuss next steps with you.

      4. Return shipping is at your own cost. We're not liable for parcels that get lost in transit back to us but we do highly recommend using Express Post or parcels with tracking.
